One of the worst things that can happen to people is the fact that they can work for months to try and get rankings in their niche market and still end up with nothing. In this article I want to show you exactly what you need to do if this is happening to you in your niche market so you can get more traffic.
Step #1 - Make sure you are doing the right things.
You have to realize that if you have a new site and you are trying to get high rankings you are going to have to wait until your site ages a bit so you can gain more trust from the search engines.
They don't like to rank new sites that have just been launched as they want you to prove to them that you are going to be relevant and add value to the results in that niche.
Step #2 - Make sure you are getting the right backlinks.
If you are in a niche market and you are not getting the rankings that you think you should be getting you have to make sure you are focused on getting the right backlinks to your site.
That means you have to make sure you are getting links from sites that have higher rankings then you and who have a higher page rank.
That way the search engines will see that other sites in your niche market trust you and you will gain trust with the search engines and hopefully start moving higher.
This is really the best way to get higher rankings. Content and doing SEO on your site also help a bit but the best thing you can do is get other sites in your niche to give you more backlinks.
