As a newbie in the Online marketing jungle, it can get very confusing and very expensive if your not careful. We get overwhelmed by the emails that blow up our inbox with "get rich quick offers", mlm schemes and all kinds of other junk that people want shove in your face for our money. Let me tell you what I didn't figure out until about a year into marketing online. List building is a tried and true way to making big money online, Period. Here are a couple of tips for you list building newbies.
First, you need to understand that building a list is the #1 thing you should focus all your energy on. Don't get side tracked with other methods of making money online. See this was my problem in the beginning, I didn't realize that the money was in the list. You know all those videos you see of these marketeers showing you their ClickBank account and the $500 days and the $1000 days, well that is due to a huge list or a person spending $100s to $1000s a day on Pay Per Click advertising. Don't be fooled by the quick buck programs. ITS IN THE LIST!
Secondly, for you list building newbies, if you are the person that has to open up every email to see if its the next "million dollar I don't have to do anything ticket". My advice to you is when you open them and the subject has nothing to do with list building, "throw it away." If a person wants you to opt-in for a free report on list building and email marketing, I recommend you do it. The more free stuff you have on the subject the better. Do everything you can to study email marketing. The information will eventually soak in and a light in your brain will go off.
Lastly, Don't be discouraged when it doesn't work the first 50 times you implement your list building efforts. No matter what your doing and especially when it comes to marketing online. Some of you are riding big time on the dream of becoming a full time internet marketer and giving up even for a little while just stalls the process. Email marketing and list building is the most powerful method on the internet for making a killing online. It may take some time to get the hang of the whole process but when you do, you will be so grateful that your main focus was exactly that.
